Greece, Athens and Santorini

Sorry we haven't written more, we don't have internet access in our room here in Greece. We went to Athens for the first night and had a wonderful hotel that had a perfect view of the Acropolis. The next day we took a rather lengthly boat ride to Santorini (the travel agents were suppose to book a faster boat, not sure what happened). Santorini is the most unbelievable place we have ever been, The cliff-side apartments are amazing. We are staying in one of them. Check out the pics to get an idea of where we have been. You can click on the pics to see full-size versions. All of the pics should have captions. Enjoy! If you post comments we will respond. We miss everyone but we are having a wonderful time. Today is our 10 year anniversary!

Erica and Kurt on Vacation in London!

So here we are, hard to believe we are in London already. We arrived at around 10 am this morning and took the London Underground to our Bed and Breakfast right across the street from Hyde Park - great location although the room could use some work. We walked around and also got one of those double decker London tour buses. We took a bunch of pics (See below). Tomorrow we are going to see a play (this is a London must). Anyways, we'll right more probably tomorrow, enjoy the picture.

Family Weekend

We had a very fun and fulfilling weekend getting things done around the house. Our goal was to finish at least one of our (many) unfinished projects. We have a lot of painting to finish up. What happens is, every so often something will overcome me and I will start painting a room during the day. Of course, I don't finish because I don't have the height nor patience for the edges, so everywhere gets done but those areas! Kurt doesn't have a whole lot of time, so the room just sits and sits like that...unfinished. While living like this would bother some people, not us--it can go unfinished for months with us. Our sun room had been painted everywhere but the top and bottom edges for about 4 months--and it was time to FINISH IT!!

I don't think I say this enough, but I have the best husband. He willingly does as he is told around the house. He does all the dirt work for me--I lucked out that he is so handy! And we FINISHED THE SUNROOM! Now, we just need our built-in bookshelf!

That Sunday after church Kurt cheffed up some shrimp with rice and I made yummy peanut butter sandwich cookies which the girls helped me make.
